How to play Copero: create a footballer and start a career

A step-by-step guide to the current Copero game: identity, academy, seasonal decisions, saving, final result and shareable challenges.

1. Create your footballer

Choose a surname, shirt number, nationality, preferred foot and one of ten positions: ST, LW, RW, CAM, CM, CDM, LB, RB, CB or GK. Position does not open a separate formation system; it changes attribute weighting and the tendencies for goals, assists and value.

2. Compare three academies

Every run generates three offers. Compare development, pathway, pressure, fit, wage and whether the academy is at home or abroad. The highest-quality academy is not automatically the best fit because pressure and adaptation also affect the start.

3. Decide once per season

Each event offers two choices and a hint about their effects. The season report then shows appearances, goals, assists, representative match rating, scoreline, rating change and value change. Injuries, trophies, international appearances and a transfer can also occur where the event rules allow them.

4. Resume or change mode

Classic career starts at 16; quick career starts at 18 and has fewer base seasons; daily challenge uses a date-based seed. All three keep one choice per season.

5. Share the result

At retirement you can download a 1080×1350 PNG card or share a challenge link. The link contains the summary needed to display a score to beat; it does not publish your complete local save or a detailed replay of every choice.
